Assuming Windows 2000 Professional (not server) - you need a third party
application (or perhaps NetMeeting would do it - been a while...)
I suggest UltraVNC or some other flavor of VNC.

Windows 2000 Server can have terminal services enabled in Remote
Administration mode.

And you can use the remote desktop client to connect to the Windows 2000
Server then...
