MS keeps sending update KB823182 saying I need to download
it for security. I click the install button, it runs
through the wizard and tells me MS has sucessfully
installed the new feature. A few days later I'm sent
another message. MS says I need to install another security
update. This time I go to details and it's the same number
(KB823182). I went to Help & Support page and tried to
download it from there. I keep getting an error message.
It won't install. But every other day MS sends the same
update. What am I doing Wrong?

Mark,

Why is Microsoft e-mailing you updates? Are you sure it's
not a virus?

icon appears on the task bar to let me know there are
updates available. In the meantime I just tried to
download KB823182 from MS page. I got the error message:
update\update is not a valid Win32 application. Any help
would be appreciated.
