When I turn my computer on it says guest and before it said owner. No one else uses my computer and it will not let me log on under owner. When I go to download something or run a program it tells me that I cannot do it because I do not have program administrater privilages. My computer was working up to a week ago and now I need desperate help. Now I can do nearly nothing to my computer. If anyone knows something please help me. I am having the same problem. None of my administrator accounts (2) will work. I can use the limited accounts, but I cannot download any Anti-virus or HP updates. Nor can I access some files on my computer that require an administrator. My problem started about a week ago too. I'm wondering if it's a virus. I have Norton 2004 installed, and it did not detect any viruses, but I have been unable to download any updates. I hope someone can provide an answer for us. |
