Hi

Outlook 2000 is blocking me from saving a .pst file which
is attached to an email I received.
The error is:
"Outlook blocked access to the following potentially
unsafe attachments: personal.pst"

Selecting "File -> Save Attachment" does nothing.

This issue only started to occur after I upgraded from 2K
Pro to XP Pro approximately 1 week ago. Windows
automatically patched XP with the latest SP during the
install.

Please can you tell me how I can save it or reset these
security settings?

Many thanks
Andy

Thanks but where is this "Security Tab"? The first place
I checked out was Tools->Options->Security. There is not
this option there. Infact the only options are:

Secure e-mail
Secure Content
Digital IDs.

I've looked at each one without success.

Thanks
andy

According to the Microsoft Knowledge Base, once Outlook is
patched to prevent receiving file attachments, it cannot
be unpatched and the attachments cannot be recovered.
However, I encountered this problem after installing an
Office SP, not a Windows patch.  In Outlook Express there
is an option to turn attachment receiving back on, but not
in Outlook.
