Does anyone know how I can get the hotfix for the below
problem? Microsoft point me to Fujitsu-Siemens and FS
point me back to MS. My PC is an OEM machine but
apparently I just need to get a hotfix from MS.
Event Log: 8017
Description:
NTBackup error: 'The saved selection file "Backup.bks"
cannot be found.'

This is the exact problem I'm having so I need the fix.

You need to call Microsoft at the number referenced on this link:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;828402
State you are calling about a hotfix and you will not be asked for a
credit card.
It does not matter if you have OEM or retail for these type of
hotfixes.

To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product
Support Services to obtain the hotfix, just like it states in the article.
