Can anybody out there help me, I've installed Sp2 for Xp
and it now won't let me connect to the internet, it comes
up with the page web site not found. Also it won't let me
turn of the firewall, I have mcaffee full internet suit
installed and I'm perfectly happy with it's firewall!
I've been on to the microsoft support site and I think
they are aware that there are problems but don't know how
to fix them yet.Anybody any ideas, apart from uninstalling
SP2!

cant help, but just to let you know yr not alone !

I have Norton running Anti Virus ans Firewall no problem,
but SP2 stops the IEX (v 6) showing any page data
(interestingly, my (UK) BT Yahoo Browser is OK (it also
has its own Firewall protection.

Ive tried installing SP2 from download twice to no avail,
each time IEXP 6 seems blocked.

I'm beginning to think Windows came out with SP2 too late
and I have all the protection already. I have just
received the CD (requested Online) .. but dont hold out
much hope. Well see !

Somebody help us !?

Phil
