How do I uninstall Windows XP Firewall?  I'm trying to
install Comcast Security Manager, and they want me to
uninstall XP Firewall before installing.

Hi

You cannot uninstall Windows XP Firewall, just stop (and
disable) it.

Is this Windows XP SP2?

Hi

Stop it like this first:

Control Panel\Windows Firewall, select Off, and press OK.

Then disable the service if necessary:

Start/Run ==> services.msc

Find "Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)" in the list.

Double click on it. Pres the Stop button if it have status Started.

Then select Disabled in the Startup type drop down list. Press OK.
