Hello Support Person, Somehow my own E-mail address keep going into the
Blocked List, I keep "Removing" it from the Blocked List, the next day it's
still there. Now, I received an unkown email from someone who had sent it
using my E-mail Address in the From:, and it was the same in To:. I
unkowingly Blocked that email I suppose, then the next day I received another
that went into the Deleted Items folder and then "noticed the From:", my
address. I checked my Blocked List and my E-mail Address was still there, I
Removed it again.  I wrote to my Server's mail and have not received any
reply. Tonight I got my emails and I noticed that I had 2 e-mails that I had
sent myself yesterday from 2 Web Site's Link which I keep in my Inbox because
I visit those web sites daily, and those 2 Link emails were not in the Inbox
list anylonger.  I had just deleted 8 or 9 spams emails I received tonight
and I did not notice the 2 Link emails in the Deleted Items folder, so when I
clicked on Select All, of course my 2 emails were deleted. Also, last week, I
lost all the Web Site Links, I had sent myself for years, send to my E-mail
Address, to keep in different folders in my Outlook Express Folder's
subfolders (eg., Shopping, Play sites, Web addresses and so on) all the Links
I sent myself were deleted.  I had more than 200 Links in those folders, I
have at least 15 subfolders completely empty.  That happened maybe when I was
in the Deleted Items Folder, and I used Ctrl/A to delete the emails I just
deleted from my daily email that day, and somehow, all the emails with my own
E-mail Address that I had sent myself got deleted using "select all" keys.
Now I have been using that method of deleting since I have E-mail at least 10
+ years and that never happened.  I do have a very long Blocked List of
E-mails. Also in the Message Rules 3 Rules with at least 75 of them titled
From:, Subject: and Words in both. All are mostly sex emails and medications
rules. Also, this week I noticed one email sent From: To: my E-mail address
and I copied its Properties that showed this:

I hope you can help me with this problem.  Oh I returned to the Web Sites
that I use on a regular basis and sent their Links via E-mail to myself.  Now
I look at how many emails there are selected in the Deleted Items Folder
before deleting all, and  yet this evening those 2 Link emails got deleted.
I don't know how to remedy this. Something has taken over my Outlook Express,
and someone my E-mail address which I would like to keep as is.  Thank you
for your time in reading this very long Question/Query.  I am Bebianne

Thank you so much for your help Carey, but the newgroup's URL you gave does
not work.  I tried to make the Search find anything concerning the url you
gave me and all came out with No Support.  So I just copy/pasted this letter
into the OE6 Newsgroup.  Hopefully they will be able to help me.  By the way,
my E-mail address came up again into the Blocked List even though I did not
restart my PC.  This is bad!  Again, Thanks for your time.  Sincerely,
Bebianne

snip original post because it is impossible to read

Bebianne - First, this is not Microsoft support. This is a newsgroup
populated by volunteers who do not work for Microsoft. Sometimes
Microsoft employees will post here, but that is on their own time and
not as official representatives of the company.

Second, you need to think about how you are presenting your problem. You
need to make it easy for people to help you. I've looked over your
stream-of-consciousness post several times and each time my eyes glazed
over. Of course you are upset and that is understandable, but no one
reading your post can see your machine and you have to make the effort
to explain clearly and concisely about your system, the problem, and
what you've done to troubleshoot. Don't write a novel. Here are links
to help you make a good newsgroup post:

http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm
http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

Now, after you've gone there, take a deep cleansing breath and come back
and post the problem. If you should take it to a different group, we'll
tell you. In the meantime, do the normal first line of troubleshooting
by scanning for malware:

Start by scanning in Safe Mode with your current version antivirus (not
earlier than 2003) making sure it is using updated definitions. If you
do not have a full-featured av installed, scan with TrendMicro's
Sysclean as follows:

TrendMicro's Sysclean is an extensive antivirus tool which has the
advantage of not needing to be installed. It requires two parts - the
scanning engine and the virus pattern files.

1. Create a new folder on your Desktop or the C: drive named something
useful like "Sysclean".
2. Go here and download the two parts of the program to that folder:

http://www.trendmicro.com/download/dcs.asp - Sysclean
http://www.trendmicro.com/download/pattern.asp - virus pattern files

The pattern files will be zipped - extract them with your unzipper (like
WinZip) or if you have XP, you can just open the folder. You need to
put the extracted files in the Sysclean folder you made.

3. Restart your computer in Safe Mode. Get into Safe Mode by repeatedly
tapping the F8 key as the computer is starting up to get to the proper
menu.
4. Go to the Sysclean folder you made and double-click on sysclean.com.
Start the scan. After the scan is finished, look at the log. You may
need to make a note of where any viruses were found if they were not
able to be removed so you can manually delete them.

After you've scanned with Sysclean, you will be able to install a
full-featured av, update its definitions, and do a full scan in Safe
Mode.

If all this seems overwhelming - and it's perfectly all right to admit
that - take the machine to a good local computer repair shop (not a
BestBuy or CompUSA type of store) and have them sort it out for you.
