Hi,

Does anyone know how to automatically run a programme straight after fast
switching from one user to another? I'd specifically like to run my broadband
modem application to connect to the internet. At the moment I and my family
have to do this manually everytime we switch users - which is quite a few
times a day.

Thanks,

Mike

Drop a shortcut to the program in

Something to consider is to use a cable/DSL router that you find at Best
Buy, etc. My guess is you are using DSL and need to start the pppoe
connectoid. The router device would also give you  additional firewall
protection for at least inbound traffic that was not in response to traffic
initiated from your computer. The link below is an example of such devices.
There are also router devices that can accommodate wireless connections if
you think you would be using that in the future for laptops or additional
computers.--- Steve
