i ordered the SP3 CD for my WinXPsp2 Home Edition.
I received the CD on Saturday and Service Pace 3.
However, the outside envelope has a white sticker on the back-side which
reads:
"Windows XP Professional XP3 Enlish. Made in Puerto Rico."

Will this CD work with my WinXPsp2 Home Edition, when it reads "Windows XP
Professional SP3 Englsih?"

Or did MS make a mistake and send me the wrong CD?

Puerto Rico is part of the United States.

The easiest way to check it to put the CD in your CD drive and see if the
readme's, etc are in English or Spanish (I suspect English).

I am not referring to the mention of Puerto Rico. I am speaking about the
mention of "Professional." I have the WinXP Home Version!

You really should try reading the post before you reply.

There is only one CD version of SP3 (english-us) available, so yes it is the
correct one.

Thank you.
So, even though the package has "Windows XP 'PROFESSIONAL' - it will wok
with my Windows XP "HOME EDITION?"

I am just confused about the PROFESSIONAL being listed when I told them I
had the HOME EDITION.

There isn't a home version and a professional version of SP3.  There's just
one version.  You have it.  Install it.

There is only one SP3 for Windows XP (Home, Professional, Media Center,
TabletPC...) - so you have the right CD *if* you got it from Microsoft.
