I have read on the MS multiboot pages that it says you
cannot do a Dual boot on 1 dynamic disk unless you
partition before hand...

I have winXp pro installed on a laptop that I need to keep
in tact but it has a 40gig drive. Now I can convert to a
dynamic disk and have it set up 30gig(xp install) and 10
gig free space. Then what I need to know is can I install
a second XP to that 10 gig volume...

Windows XP will not install on a dynamic disk at all.
One should not convert a one hard drive PC to dynamic
as there is no benefit whatsoever.
