Is the .Net Framework included with XP SP2? If so what version?
I just received a new Dell workstation and right from the factory it has XP
SP2 and it also has the .Net Framework. However, I do recall setting up VPC
images and installing XP SP2 and no framework was installed.
Thanks.

The installed for the .NET Framework (1.1) is on the SP1 and SP2 CDs, but
it's not installed with the operating system. The only Windows operating
system that has the .NET framework installed by default is Windows Server
2003.
It sounds like Dell installed the framework for you.
