Glenn --

You need to purchase the "retail upgrade version" of XP Pro
in order to upgrade over XP Home.  Downloads are non-existent.

>Upgrading from XP home to XP pro was painless EXCEPT now
I get a message every few minutes that the system is
trying to install Microsoft Money  and is not able to find
the installation disks.  It is looking at some crazy path
that was probably the network path that the manufacturer
(e-machine) used to preload my computer.  If I put in a
Money disc in the D drive, it attempts to install Money
but stops because a version is already there.  It wants me
to uninstall the existing version, but it won't let me.
this is a real catch 22.
I get the Installing Money  message every time I change
web pages.  a real mess.
