Hi,

My windows XP with SP 2 was attacked by the spyware mscornet.exe. I removed
the virus (the exe along with some *.tmp from system32 folder) by logging
into the safe mode. But since then, everytime i log into my PC I am asked to
activate the Windows license (on internet), and if i do not activate the
license each time, the system logs me off ! The error in the event log says
"The Windows license was restored due to a system error. You might need to
reactivate your Windows product. " Please let me know how can i reset the
license so that I am not asked . Please help.

Thanks in advance
