I while back I was able to get my hand on a windows XP trial disc, i and
ended up buing windows XP afterward.   Since then, ive had to return the disc
(which I am unable to get use again, becuase it was lost) and I also happen
to lose my XP intall disc myslef.  I still have my XP number, but I just need
to get ahold of another trial disc!  Ive been searching high and low, but Ive
found NOTHING that can help me!

XP Home?  XP Professional?

When you bought XP and got the new CD - you didn't have to install over the
trial with it?
What type of CD was that?  Retail (you bought it at a local store or
internet and it came in a nice box with a CD case, etc..) or OEM (you bought
it likely online and it came wrapped in cellophane with a cardboard
backing)?

If Retail - you might be able to contact Microsoft.
If OEM - you need to contact those you purchased it from for support.
If they are no longer in business - refer to the link below.

AFAIK the trial Windows XP CDs are only available with some books such as:

But you may not need this, instead follow Shenans advice to replace the full
CD.
