Have an OEM version of XP with SR-1 on disc. Came with motherboard, HD and
other parts of PC I built myself. I want to format and reinstall XP because
my system is running slowly -- my registry must be pretty clogged after
almost 3 years of fiddling around.

The company I bought my XP from is no longer in business -- so I can't go to
them. Is there a way to get a new disc of XP with all the security updates
already there?

Thanks to all who might help.

You can download/burn updates to cd via MS Administrative updates
You can also, maybe depends on location, obtain sp2 from MS for an admin
fee.
You cannot get a new winxp (updated) cd without buying a new (later) version
