We're upgrading several PCs from 2K to XP-SP2 - however after the upgrade
finishes, windows updates will not install - they are downloaded and waiting,
but each and every one fails installation.  I've tried clearing out the
stopping the automatic update service and clearing out the
\winnt\SoftwareDistribution folder, and restarting the autoupdate service -
this worked to get the updates to download from our WSUS but now they just
sit there unable to install.

Any ideas? I'm going to try a repair install if all else fails - but this
has happened on 3 machines so far.

Thanks.
