I am having serious praoblems validating Windows in order to download a media player codec. It was suggested that I uninstall Explorer 7 which I did but this has not helped and now I can't reinstall EX7. I do not get the ActiveX window when I try to validate my version of Windows. Now using the alternate method gets me to page saying that page cannot be displayed.
