Xp don't shutdown

My computer when i press the button to disconect it starts to shutdown. But
when appears the window "Windows is closing" it stays for here. I've tried
for many hours and it not disconect

Really need to look at the event logs to see what could be causing this
problem before any advice can be given on this one.
