So I have my (coaxial) cable plugged into the back of my computer (HP
m7160n).  I have opened Media Center, and it has correctly detected my cable
input.  However, "My TV" does not show up in the Media Center menu.  Is there
a way to add it?  Do I need to somehow install this separately?

I do NOT have the Media Center REMOTE connected to the computer.  Do I have
to have that for the "My TV" to appear?

If so, is there any "third party" software that will allow me to watch my
land-line cable without needing a remote?

Thanks!

Repost to the Media Center group, you'll have a better chance of a good
answer there.
