Transferring XP to a new machine

I currently have 2 copies of XP Pro. Copy #1 is an SP2 disc and is currently
in use on computer "A". Copy #2 is a pre SP1 disc that is in use on computer
"B".
I am replacing computer "B" with a new computer that I am building. I want
to transfer the XP from computer "B" to the new computer. I plan to
completely wipe computer "B" of everything before I get rid of it. I believe
I am within my rights to do the transfer this way. The problem I have is that
the pre SP1 disc will not see the SATA drives that the new computer will
have. I know I can slipstream the disc but I would prefer not to go through
that process. Is there a way I can use the SP2 disc for the install process
and use the license from the Pre SP1 disc?
Both of these discs are OEM discs and not from a manufacturer.

OEM - non-tranferrable in accordance with the OEM License agreement.

An OEM version is Licensed to the first PC it is installed on, and not
transferable
No winxp cd can see a sata hd without using the F6 option during the
installation to install third party drivers from floppy (there maybe other
options in the bios if using intel/ide sata)

Wrong!  If the motherboard happens to use an Intel SATA controller and
has the BIOS set up so that the SATA "emulates" IDE, XP CD will detect
the drive (I just did it on my PC this past June.)

Also,  since the version are OEM and they were not from a specific
manufacturer, the OP could be considered the OEM maker of the PC.  OEM
PC manufacturer "can" decide what qualifies as the PC.

OEM is OEM, no matter where it came from, and is not transferable to another
PC, period. It doesn't matter if your an OEM system builder or joe blow off
the street. The OEM EULA does not allow what the OP wants to do, this of
course doesn't mean that he can't still do it.
