I am trying to deploy Windows XP Pro, I installed Windows
XP Pro then ran setup manager I created the sysprep.inf
file, I choose to run aumtomated no user input and placed
it in c:\sysprep, I then ran sysprep to prepare my
machine for cloning. I am using Ghost 7.0 for cloning, I
know it is not supported but Symantec gave instructions
on how to clone with XP pro. When the machines finished
cloning it did not recognize the sysprep.inf at all. I
had to input everything. Does anyone have any experience
with this sernario?

Thanks in advance.

Mike,
Make sure you have copies of Sysprep.exe and SetupCL.exe
in the C:\sysprep directory and when you run sysprep,
before cloning it, that you use the Use Mini Setup option

Mike,
Ensure that you use the -mini switch when launching
sysprep, otherwise the sysprep.inf file will be ignored.

I am having a similiar problem with Xp Pro and Ghost 7.0.
I can sysprep the image but not with mini setup. It gives
me an error everytime. I doubt that helps as I endeavour
to find a solution. Manually configuring 200+ computers
does not make me happy.
