I tried to repair / reinstall xp home. I received an
error message and the the system was shut down. On reboot
I get a message "NTLDR" is compressed". I tried to reboot
from the xp home cd but get a message "Boot from ATAPI CD-
ROM: Failure...". It then goes to the c drive and gives
me the message "NTLDR" is compressed". I can boot from a
floppy but all I get is the A promt and cannot find the c
drive.

I have easy cd creator software if that matters.

Help!

Thanks

Recently moved and when I powered up my PC (XP) I get a
message "NTLDR" is compressed Pres CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart.
No matter how many times I comply, it goes back to the
BIOS info page, then returns to this.
XP came with the system, but I do have a disk. How can I
get past this screen?
