Hi,

I do not have internet access at home and the activation
step is an annoying nussance.  So anyway, what do I have
to do since I do not have internet access on that PC?

Adam;
Go to the Activation screen.
Call the displayed phone number, different number depending on your
geographic region.
Done in about 5 minutes.
Probably less time than it took you to come here and make your post.
