That driver should work. Try going to device manager > Sound, video, etc >
when you right click on your sound card, if it shows there is a driver click
uninstall, restart and try to install the one you just downloaded again...
thats all I can think of... someone else can take this over :)
Ok did that and hate to tell you and myself but there is no sound card
perio\d. got a lot o other stuff, under sound, video and game controllers I
have audio codecs(double click and nothing, this 4 this one and all that are
to follow,legacy audio driver all i get is a pop up that says scan for
hardware changes, update driver(which cannot do ,DUH! and properties, and all
the other ones under that 1) I hate my comp!

I know exactly how you feel, I have dealt with too many compaq errors lol.

KILL ME! I downloaded it and now when i try to open it it states its a file
extension!?I have no clue now WAHHHH!
