Hello all! I have encountered a problem with my computer and really need help
fixing it.

My computer crashed recently while i was surfing, I can't think of anything
else that might be vital than it recently told me I was running out of space
on C:, and I was run an Antivirus Scan with McAfee.

It now gives me a blue screen and the error messege:
STOP: 0x00000050  (0xc1080212, 0x00000000, 0x80576D44, 0x00000000)
Page Fault Error - thingie.

I've read enough to think that the important is the 0x0000050 part, and the
following is just different depending on your computer, correct? Or is it a
specific problem that brings this?

Anyways; after reading this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/329293 and
other sources it tells me to I need to get into SafeMode to fix and look
around, but when i try to do that it gives me the same error once again; the
same with trying to last config that worked.

Is there something I can do to get into Safemode except the standard F8 and
the messege that tells me "A problem accured and Windows has shut down." ?

I havent' touched anything with the Hardware, so it shouldn't be that. I'm
not sure what this is, hopefully someone here can help? It'd be so
appriciated!

Thanks in advance!
E.

If you have the XP setup CD, boot to it, press 'r' for repair, and the
Recovery Console prompt. Running the command :
CHKDSK /R

might get you going again.

Repair probably will/would be a waste of time, page fault & youre error codes
lie to a driver problem. This can be checked by useing "Driver Verifier"
software
already on youre pc...To use VERIFIER,read kb244617
If low disk space does exist, get a larger hard drive, also, mcafee software can
run ok,but its really junk.....
