I did a search for jpg images and got a list of a hundred images which I
thought had been deleted from the directory but are listed in Documents and
settings.  In trying to delete them I find that I can get rid of only one at a
time.  Is there a way to remove them any quicker?

Why can't you just select them all in the search pane and press
delete?
