empty device manager

hi,
new here. i loaded a game that was not meant for xp and it evitually went to
the blue screen.  i checked device manager and it was blank.  now the problem
is even the video card driver is missing so i cannot see anything.
i know about the plug & play thing but the monitor doesn't work.

any suggestions

the problem is i can't use my monitor.  it's black it doesn't go on.  the
driver for the monitor is gone too.  therefore i can't get on my computer to
do anything.  i saw this posting before which is helpful and i knew about
that but i can't use my monitor so i can't do that.

also i did take my hard out and put it into another computer can i do
something from my hard drive to correct this problem?

I forgot you said the monitor does not work, Can you boot into Safe Mode? If
so try to boot with VGA mode.
