After reformatting Windows XP, my sound device is not working (but it says that it is fonctioning properly) no sound at all. How to fix this I need help please. Also cannot update Explorer 6 to Explorer 7 ??? Marie, if you formatted the hard drive and reinstalled WinXP you have to replace the Drivers. Sound being one of them.
