Lately, everytime I try to log-on to some sites, especially AT&T boards, IE
stops responding.

I tried re-installing it, sfc /scannow, and ran CHKDSK from My Computer, but
it still doing it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Laurent

Hi,
Some things to try...
Delete any cookies from the troublesome sites, or delete all cookies.

Clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete files (and
delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often recommended that
the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

Download and run Protected Storage PassView from
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/pspv.html Delete any saved usernames/passwords
for those sites.

Internet Options> Privacy, are you accepting cookies from those sites? A
Privacy setting of Low should allow first-party cookies.

Hope this helps,
