I Have a problem with starting my PC. When I try to start XP a screen appears
saying hardeware or software changes to windows have caused windows not to
start. I then have the option to start in safe mode, start from a previous
setting (last time windows started properly) or start windows normally. When
I choose to start normally or from previous settings it just loops back time
and time again. I can however enter safe mode. It has happened twice. The
first time I had to revover system losing all installed devices. The second
time I managed to restore previous settings whilst in safe mode. The only
software I have installed is BT Broadband and Norton Internet Security 2006.
Your help would be appreiciated. Thanks Lee

I have the same problem, except I can't even go into safe mode.

Have you installed Norton or BT Broadband?

No. I have Norton, but haven't installed in recently.
