I have bought a Sony Handycam DCR HC19 + Sony Picture Package. My system
(Windows XP Home) has recommended that I not continue installation since this
may mess up my PC - the Sony stuff has not been 'passed by Microsoft'. Has
anyone carried on with installation? Will it be dangerous for me to carry on?
Help!!!

If this is a digital camcorder, you shouldn't need any additional software
or drivers.  Just connect with firewire (aka iLink aka IEEE1394) and when
you turn the camcorder on, a box will popup asking if you'd like Windows
MovieMaker to do the job for you.
