I just converted 58 video tapes to DVD - can I use Movie Maker?

I wanted to take clips from all these DVD's to make a highlights DVD.  The
DVD's are all VOB files which I thnk is MPEG 2.  Should I encode them to
something else and use Movie Maker to edit them or should I use a different
tool?

Download WM encoder 9 series,in the encoder select convert audio/video,locate
youre file,create an output file,let it encode to wm
