Runs fine for me on Comcast Cable.
Just wondering...do you have Cable, DSL, Dial-up?
On the MS site...you have to click Next to access
the next screen.

So that there isn't a misunderstanding.
I clicked on the above link to that nice site,
Playback commenced and proceeded as
expected, the buffer progress bar indicated
in percentage as it loaded and the clip played
just fine and it ran for 1min 56 seconds.
That is the maximum length of the clip.
In your original post you mention a clip running
for 3 minutes and then stopping.
Are you sure that what you perceive as the clip(s)
not playing through is actually the end of the clip?

On this second link you provided, it is not Adobe Flash
it is a slide show, admittedly it has a confusing toolbar
inasmuch as it indicates a pause button and if you click
on it, then changes to a Play indicator, but they are non-
functional, you use the "Next" button to progress thru
the tutorial.
This is normal and nothing is wrong.

But, just in case you have a corrupt Adobe flash player installed:

This link is to Adobe's troubleshooter.
You maybe best at following the guide to fully uninstall
Adobe flash player and then reinstall the latest version
direct from Adobe's download link.

You started another thread in which you revealed you
are on dial-up, that may well explain the problems.
Streaming video via a dial-up connection is unlilkly
to succeed, you are probably getting time-outs.
