Can .MOV type videos be converted, or otherwise used in Movie Maker software?

My Minolta X50 uses this format but Movie Maker does not accept this type.

They can be converted and then imported. Check my website's Import Movie
Source Files > Video > MOV page

=============================
QuickTime .mov files are not compatible
with Movie Maker...

The following free online converter can
convert .mov files.

MediaConvert
http://media-convert.com/

Try converting to .wmv or .avi.
