I found out only when I've got one change over left, that
most of the DVD have got a code to work only in specific
nations and there  is a limited number of times I can
chnge the set region on my windows media player settings.
This means that I can swap from my DVD bought in USA to
the one bought in Europe only 6 times.

Is there a way to solve or go around this problem?

It also appears on the screen error#cood1165.

I really appreciate your help.

thanks

Chiara

You can use DVD Decrypter (freeware) to make an image of your DVDs.  DVD
Decrypter automatically removes the region protection. You can then watch
the movie from your hard drive or you can  use DVD Decrypter to burn an
exact duplicate of that DVD which has no region protection limitations.
That way you don't have to keep switching back and forth to watch movies
from Europe and the US.  http://www.dvddecrypter.com/

Regards,
Ian.
