every time I try to play a Video File in WMP v 9 or v10 XP will freeze. It will show the first frame and locks up XP, to the point that even the Cap'sLock key on the keybroad won't work. The only out is to power off to rebot Anyone with an idea? Rick First, try installing another software for video playing. If not, check you have the latest codecs (like divx, avi, etc.) If this doesn't works, check if you have enought memory to play videos in the media player, because the latest versions of media player are for big machines. Have a nice time. Sometimes a lot of programs with multiple file associations make trouble when you try to play video files. |
