DV Out

This may sound like a stupid question but when a digital camera lists DV out
and does not specifically list iLink 1394 as one of it's features. Is it fair
to assume that a fire wire link can be established between it and the PC. the
camera is a JVC GR-D 240EX

According to page 7 of the product manual, yes it does.
