can i convert my  mpeg video music files to dvd to play on my home dvd player ?

Then just create a data DVD with your DVD burning software with the MP3
files on it.  Be careful about File Name length.  Most standalones don't
like long names!

Cari, why are you taking about MP3 files. The original poster said:

Note the word *video*. The files are not just audio.

To play the video files these may be either playable directlty by your
dvd player (experiment on a dvd rw as data files), or may need
"authoring". A good authoring software is Ulead Movie Factory.
