Hello,
I'm new to Quicktime.  I've just started playing with it,
and I'm trying to convert a simple mpeg 1 file to a MOV.

I  import the mpg, and it plays fine.
I choose export "movie to quicktime"
Use "DSL cable/high"

I save the file, it creates the movie, but there is
no audio at all.

I went back to the export options page, and used
the options button just to the right of the Export:
pulldown list.  Sure enough, the audio selection is greyed
out and unselectable.

What am I missing?  Any assistance appreciated.

Why do you think most of us don't use Macs!!!  Yes, some of it is very
strange.
