have been playing dvds on powerdvd on new laptop. all goes well until about
halfway through movie and it begins to skip alot - so much it is unwatchable.
my dvds arent scratched and  thing is if i turn off the computer for a while
and turn it back on, it seems to be fine after that.

plus its a new computer so the dvd drive shouldnt need cleaning yet either!

how can i fix this?

thanks
