I recently re-formatted my hardrive, and everything works perfectly but the
sound. I don't have the driver for the multimedia audio controller. The
sound is running off the motherboard. So my question is, since I don't have
the cd for the motherboard or even know the make of the motherboard, how can
I find out which driver I need, without paying for the information, or is
there a generic driver I can use?
Thanks

Typically the drivers are available from the manufacturers website, usually
for free.

Go to the manufacturers web site and download / install the complete set of
M/B drivers. I can't see your M/B from here so I can't tell you who made it.
Everest Home , Belarc Advisor and a host of other programs can!
