Somehow or other I've managed to block a site or two, specifically amazon and
Intervideo.  I always get *The Page Cannot Be Displayed*.  I used to be able
to access the sites but now, nothing.  I've looked thru IE options and I have
Ad-Aware as well and neither site is listed as being blocked.  Any thoughts
would be greatly appreciated!

Since you can't remember how you originally blocked the sites, it's a
bit hard for us to know, but did you block them in your Hosts file?

Information about the Hosts file -
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

Since you are using IE, where are you checking in its options? Do you
have any other security apps installed that provide site blocking such
as Spybot Search & Destroy, Norton Internet Security, SpySweeper, or
the like? Only you know what you have running on your computer.

Hi Perry,
Right Click the IE icon and select |properties| privacy |Restricted Zones
and see what in the Restricted list of websites you have blocked before and
move what you mentioned and try to access them, Do you have the problem with
other websites  or in particular these tow?
If the above didn't work go to;
HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\internet Settings\Current
Version\Zone Map\Domains and you will find what you mentioned there delet
them.

HKEY_Users\S-S-1\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Internet
Settings\Zone Map\Domains.
If you have Spybot search&destroy or any other Anti-Adware,may you will find
list of Prono websites Ignore it and delete the ones which you mentioned and
leave the rest to be blocked.
Hope this helps

Took a look at the area you've suggested and neither site is listed or any
other site that's of any interest to me.  I'm totally stumped.

Hey nass,

Well, it looks like I can get into the site if I go into like, the page for
cd's or something.  Just can't get in thru the homepage.  I followed the
instructions at the link u provided, some stuff did update, but it didn't
affect this issue.  I mean, it's not like getting into Amazon like that is
hyper critical, it just presented itself as a problem with my pc that I
wanted to try and correct.  Thanks!
