Greetings.
When opening my desktop icons, even though I have selected the 'Maximized'
option in the Property Sheet, the refuse to open Maximized.

Anybody have any suggestions to solve this problem.

I am going back and check some settings/properties to see if I have made an
error, but previous looks have revealed nothing outstanding.

Thanks

Note that it's up to the program to recognize the 'Maximized' option.
Start > Run: calc.exe
The Windows Calculator, for instance, will never ever run maximized.

What problem. If your applications were starting maximized before, scan
your system for malware and use the System Restore tool when clean.

Every shortcut or just a few?  If a few, try deleting and creating a new
shortcut with maximized selected in the Run box.

Ron.

Sorry about not responding sooner, been a little busy.

It seems to be the ones I have on my desktop.  Have not tried too many others.

Tried your suggestion but I can not select the 'Maximized' option until
after I create a shortcut.

Thanks for your help

That's the way it is supposed to work--create and then select the option.
If the shortcut then works as you want, make all new desktop shortcuts and
delete the old ones.
