Does any one know how to get rid of McAfee Virus scanner off a
computer? Or, is it worth paying for the licenses renewal...

In answer to the first question, try their uninstall program on the
computer.  Also check their website for a "cleaner" tool to remove the
last of it, IF they offer one (most manufacturers do).

In answer to the second question, no, it isn't (IMO).  McAfee used to be
a good anti-virus software - but that was a long time ago.  It's a
bloated mess today, and a money pit (automatic renewals, for example).
Avast! and others are free, and work great.

Uninstall it from Control Panel | Add/Remove programs, like any other
program.

Ugh! Next to Norton it's the worst possible choice.
