system restore

i left home for 30 days over xmas dutin which time the computer was shot-off,
and when i returned all my system restore points were gone;  in fact the
calendar will not even go back beyond the curent month (Jan 2008).....any
ideas?

Hello Cisco,

Sorry, but when they're gone, they're gone. Your only option is to set
a Restore Point. See if it takes, and if it does, immediately restore
to that point to test it.
