I have 2 hard drives, on the original hard drive is Windows Media Center that
HP had " added controls, it keeps doing stuff I dont want, that asside, I
added a second drive and loaded xp pro on it, after I got it to run correctly
I started to get bogged down with svchost.exe getting into a loop and keeping
CPU cycles busy at about 50%, I believe it was caused when Microsoft update
did not fully install something, reason I say that, it when I would do an end
task on the svchost.exe and do an update request. it wud start all over.

to resovle the svchost.exe problem I did a checkpoint restore.
I had checked for viruses, did disk scan, check for all that stuff and could
not find any other possable cause.

When I went to restore my "original "c" drive, I accidently restored it to a
checkpoint BEFORE I installed my 2nd hard drive. I mistakenly thought they
were asking me about a magic Jack & a jump drive I had disconnected (to
prevent confusion ( I know, I confused myself)) and just as I hit ok for the
checkpoint to proceed I realized my mistake.
Now when my machine comes up, at the boot question screen, it no longer asks
me which system I want to boot from.

Is there anyway I can get that restored? so that it will boot from either
drive?

Hoping someone can help me.
