As of this morning when I hit IE, I get
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx even though my
internet options is set to ATT Yahoo. My spybot detects the change and if I
hit home...it goes right to my homepage. What gives?

I presume you're on IE6 still....Microsoft *really* wants you to upgrade to
IE7. When I've seen this I've either upgraded or I ignore it.  I use Firefox
as my main browser so I rarely bump into the issue, but I've never found any
way to stop this outright.

Are you running IE6 or IE7 currently?

IE Tools | Internet Options | Advanced | Browsing | Automatically check for
IE updates (uncheck).

PS: You'll have to completely disable Spybot Tea Timer (if enabled) to be
able to do this and have it stay that way.  See
