I have an old pc that is not able to connect to a network, not this one I
hasten to add. Can I download the full XP Pro SP2 service pack from
anywhere, put on a data key, and update my old pc ?

If your XP has no SP, you'll need SP2 prior to installing SP3

The objective is Service Pack 3, not SP2. If the PC is PS1 level go straight to SP3. If
the PC is is XP with no service pack installed, then install SP2 and then SP3.
