I have XP home edition.
I want to make a wireless connection - when I open Network Connections from
the control panel there is nothing there.
The folder is blank.
I am assuming something has been deleted and wonder if anyone knows how it
can be restored.
The 802.11 adaptor for the connection is showing in the Device manager.
But I cannot make the connection as the Network connection folder is blank
Thanks if anyone can help

Have you made any changes to the Services start modes ? Like in a
guide such as Black Viper's ? Normally, whenever a NIC is shown
in Device Manager there will be an associated LAC or WAC in the
Network Connections. A check of the System Event log may show
errors related to Networking.

Have you run the Wizard?
